The Pelican Diner moved to Wanamaker in 1954, but the restaurant never opened. The iconic neon sign proclaiming “We Never Close” remained for two decades after the building was removed, the subject of countless jokes.
We’re pleased to present our replica of the Pelican Diner sign in both a weatherproof vinyl decal and a full-color acrylic ornament. You can purchase online, or stop by our Christmas in Wanamaker booth on December 7 to pick them up in person!
