All FTHS members are invited to join us on an outing to the Henry County Historical Society in New Castle, IN on May 14. The Henry County Historical Society is housed in the 1870 Italianate Victorian home of Civil War General William Grose.
The event will include a group luncheon on the return trip to Indianapolis. There will be no cost for the outing except whatever you choose to spend on lunch, as members’ entry fees will be paid by the Society. (For non-members who wish to attend, the cost is $3/person.) Please note that there are stairs in the building, though the ground-floor exhibits can be visited without stairs.
To carpool, please be at the Meeting House (6510 S. Franklin Road) by 9:45 a.m. Carpool vehicles will leave at 10:00 and will arrive at the Henry County Society at 11. If you would like to attend, RSVP to franklintownshiphistory@gmail.com or call (317) 862-2118 and leave a message.
