Our annual Harvest Luncheon and Silent Auction will be Saturday, November 5 at 12 p.m. at Grace Church, 5605 S. Franklin Rd. The event includes a catered meal, door prizes, live music by pianist Jim Kemp, a presentation on local history, and a silent auction featuring a variety of gift baskets from generous local donors and corporate sponsors. (It’s the perfect place to pick up some early holiday gifts!)
This year’s history talk will introduce you to a Franklin Township pioneer, innovator, and inventor who held numerous patents in transportation and electrical technology, and whose inventions are now housed in the collection of the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago!
The luncheon menu is Chicken Normandy, which will be served with a green salad, bread, dessert and beverages. The entrée is gluten free.
Please note that this is a professionally catered dinner, so there is a deadline for ordering meals. Reservations must be made by October 28!
The luncheon is $20 for members and $25 for non-members. (Members may purchase additional tickets for friends at the discounted rate.)
