2025 Antiques & Rummage Sale is June 13-14

volunteers setting up 2022 rummage sale

It’s almost time for our annual Antiques and Rummage Sale! This event is our largest annual fundraiser (and it’s especially important this year, during our Expansion Project). You can help us by donating items, shopping, volunteering, and spreading the word!

Sale dates: Friday, June 13 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, June 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Doors open at 8 a.m. sharp. No early sales.

Sale location: Franklin Township Civic League building, 8822 Southeastern Avenue.

Donation drop-off: Wednesday, June 11 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday, June 12 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Civic League building. If you have larger items that you cannot transport but would like to donate, we may be able to arrange for a volunteer to pick them up. Please email info@fths.org to inquire about pickup. (Please note that our volunteers are not equipped to move extremely heavy items such as pianos.)

What we sell: Antiques, collectibles, housewares, small appliances, tools, toys and games, home and holiday decor, books, movies, electronics, furniture, sporting goods and recreational gear. We do not accept clothing or firearms.

How the sale works: Most of the items in the sale are name-your-own-price! While some antiques and more valuable items will be priced as marked, the majority are unmarked and are available for a reasonable donation to the FTHS. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and all funds from the sale go toward maintaining our 1871 museum building and artifact collection, as well as supporting educational programs. This year, we are also raising money toward an additional facility (learn more here).

We’re also looking for: Volunteers! We have a very limited time to clear the building after the sale ends. We need extra hands to pack leftover items into boxes, break down folding tables, and deliver things to storage and donation centers. If you’re able to help us out for an hour or so around 2 p.m. Saturday, please email info@fths.org.

Another easy way to support the FTHS is to help us promote this event! You can download a printable flyer below. Post it on your local community board or share it with a sale-loving friend!
